How should we judge a government?

In Malaysia, if you don't watch television or read newspapers, you are uninformed; but if you do, you are misinformed!

"If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing." - Malcolm X

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience - Mark Twain

Why we should be against censorship in a court of law: Publicity is the very soul of justice … it keeps the judge himself, while trying, under trial. - Jeremy Bentham

"Our government is like a baby's alimentary canal, with a happy appetite at one end and no
responsibility at the other. " - Ronald Reagan

Everything: huge crowds, mood of people, karma, RAHMAN and even numerology, seems to point towards change

'Will "the world's longest continually elected governing coalition" be unseated this May 5th?

Quite an unsettling thought to many Malaysians who have never experienced a political regime change. I think it's uncanny that it coincides with Liberation Day here in the Netherlands. Different country, different era... some of the values are universal - freedom from fear and oppression, mutual respect for human, civil and political rights, and the idea that when a regime falls corrupt and unjust, the people possess the power to rise up for change.' - Cheng

Earlier, some already mentioned Nomination day on April 20 coincided with Teoh Beng Hock's birthday and May 6 (day after Election) was Altantuya's.

For many years, 'RAHMAN' theory suggested Umno's rule will end with Najib as the sixth and last PM of Malaysia. Even numerologically too: R + A + H+ M + A + N =18+1+8+13+1+14 = 55
So it means that BN can only rule for 55 years, has to end on 5th May.

Antares predicts: Malaysia is blessed that our 7th prime minister will NOT be from Umno!
