Only Incumbent PSM candidates to contest under PKR logo


"PKR vice-president Chua Tian Chang has this morning confirmed that only the two PSM incumbent candidates in the Sungai Siput parliamentary and Kota Damansara state seats will be allowed to defend their seats under PKR's ticket in the 13th general elections.

Both Dr Michael Jeyakumar (Sungai Siput) and PSM president Dr Nasir Hashim (Kota Damansara) had contested and won under the PKR ticket in the last elections in 2008.

The decision will avert a three-cornered fight in the two constituencies between PSM, PKR and Barisan Nasional (BN).

However, this may not be the case in the Semenyih and Jelapang state seats..."
