How should we judge a government?

In Malaysia, if you don't watch television or read newspapers, you are uninformed; but if you do, you are misinformed!

"If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing." - Malcolm X

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience - Mark Twain

Why we should be against censorship in a court of law: Publicity is the very soul of justice … it keeps the judge himself, while trying, under trial. - Jeremy Bentham

"Our government is like a baby's alimentary canal, with a happy appetite at one end and no
responsibility at the other. " - Ronald Reagan

NFC Fraud Alert Involving Barclays Bank and Amazon

Better be prepared for the current weaknesses in the banking/card industry using Wireless transmission, and how NFC reveals their weaknesses.  Perhaps it's better to put our creditcards (Visa, Amex, MasterCard, etc.) into online accounts using NFCs.  That way, no one can come near you and read your creditcard with just a fraction of a second swipe past your wallet.

With NFC smartphones, no one can read your e-Wallets if your NFC is disabled.  It can easily be enabled on the smartphone when you are ready to use it.  One of the benefits of NFCs?

Perhaps it's time to move to NFC payment, since this Near Field Communication only works within a distance of 6mm. unlike the chip on the creditcard which has a larger distance to enable its Wave technology to work.

Anyway, watch the video link in this news article.  Interesting for all credit cards holders.
