Hamidah, who is in charge of tourism in the state, said she toured the dredge some months back and spoke to its operator.
She said the operator was clueless on what to do to save the dredge.
“The problem is that this is an operating dredge, which is to be parked in water, and is not meant for tourism.
“So when you use it as a tourist centre and park it on sand, to be frank, that doesn’t fit. The sand cannot withstand its weight,” she said.

For the first time, I had to remove a 'comment' which was actually a series of 'dots' each linked to some unsavoury sites. If it was done on purpose, then there is nothing much I can do but delete when necessary.
