Having seen Najib's so-called lean and mean cabinet, it would be nice to have Pakatan's shadow cabinet in a really lean and mean form, and yet be able to be effective.
Most of the suitable candidates, in terms of their status as MPs, are without the necessary experience as ministers though they have been MPs for years. But there is no doubt about their capabilities given the chance. There would be plenty of opportunities to pretend to be a minister and see how it works out. Hopefully they will get the chance to do the real thing. By being lean, it means 'less man more share' and therefore more work in having to shadow more than one real minister.
