Nazir Razak!
I think we can have all kinds of analyses by experts, but chances are CIMB will win. We have seen how Southern Bank was arm-twisted with the rules then of only one suitor at a time. CIMB has grown by leaps and bounds, partly by its capable CEO, but who can deny the influence of big brother as PM? Sime Darby's mega merger to become the world's largest plantation company alone earned substantial fees. Southern Bank's controlling shareholders initially put a fight but again, who can deny Genting owes its existence to Pahang, the home state of two of our six PMs?
Maybank or CIMB, EPF?
CIMB or Maybank better fit with RHB Cap?
