How should we judge a government?

In Malaysia, if you don't watch television or read newspapers, you are uninformed; but if you do, you are misinformed!

"If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing." - Malcolm X

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience - Mark Twain

Why we should be against censorship in a court of law: Publicity is the very soul of justice … it keeps the judge himself, while trying, under trial. - Jeremy Bentham

"Our government is like a baby's alimentary canal, with a happy appetite at one end and no
responsibility at the other. " - Ronald Reagan

NH Chan's article blocked?

I have been wondering what happened to former Court of Appeal Judge, NH Chan... whether he had been told not to be too expressive in his judgments over judges, because of his long silence.

I was glad to see the headline, 'NH Chan sees the next GE as the only solution' in Suara Perak (YB Sivakumar's blogsite) but the following warning appeared soon after:

"Warning: Visiting this site may harm your computer!

The website at speakforperak.blogspot.com contains elements from the site pemudabesut.blogspot.com which appears to host malware - software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer.

(Box) I understand that visiting this site may harm my computer. Proceed anyway.
Back to safety."

Coincidentally, my notebook has been facing crashes lately. So I am not about to risk it. The work of Umno or as announced lately, of MCA cyber troopers?

I am confident, his article will easily appear somewhere else soon.
