This morning I posted a first comment critical of Ali Rustam in MC and it was published. I have just checked and it has disappeared!

Either it was taken off by MC editor or a BN cybertrooper managed to take it off (if so, well done!). I have not been commenting in websites which did not publish my comments, so this will be another one of those if it happens again. I find it better to give my two-cent's worth in my own blog (guaranteed to appear) and linked it to the article. I will try and recall what I have commented early this morning (just before 8 am).
Ali Rustam's decision to move to federal level (presumption of a Ministerial post) could be embarrassing if Pakatan were to win. This reminds me of the dispute by Gerakan leaders in Penang over who should be Chief Minister, and they were routed instead!
Earlier, Nizar has confirmed his decision not to stand for parliamentary seat and concentrate on winning Perak. In his case, unless Pakatan wins at federal level, he is just forgoing being MP for another term.
As for development in constituency under DAP in Malacca, BN has vested interests in doing so. First of all, it was to show their apparent generosity (even magnanimity?) in distributing development funds, but they actually had control of the funds despite it being won by opposition. It is a known fact that dishing out development contracts is BN's way of pleasing their local leaders, usually at higher costs than actual. This reminds me of a comment heard on a nomination day in Batu Gajah, Perak: 'What's so difficult about spending money? It is like being given money to go and buy things in the market.' I wish to add, 'and getting rich in the process.'
That was the gist of my comment which was deleted in MC. Of course, it is impossible for me to recall exactly what I had commented.
