Anyway, the modus operandi of BN seem to be: false accusations against opposition leaders, with the glare of wide publicity using mainstream media at their disposal. It did not matter to them at all whether there was any truth, so long as there is someone willing to state something against the opposition.
Anwar and family had to go through the shame of Sodomy 1 and 2, and now another dubious sex video making the rounds just before the GE.
Lim Guan Eng, as Chief Minister of Penang, had his fair share of all kinds of accusation. So did Khalid Ibrahim, as Selangor Menteri Besar.
They might be paid compensations and/or ordered to be given public apologies by the accusers, but the damage to reputation and the stress of having to counter endless false accusations cannot be fully restored or got over with.
