Action speaks louder than words

comes to mind with the current 'hottest buzz on the net" as reported in Malaysian Mirror.

Just like the lack of remorse in an apology when you demand one, any act of charity loses its significance once we boast about it.

In this particular case, would it not be better if any offers to advertise congratulatory messages as part of a publicity campaign (we all know that the artwork and copy were well prepared and most probably previewed and approved by the person before publication), be channeled to further help charitable causes? Sincerity in charity work should not be publicized, let alone overly done as in this case. All the goodness, if any, are overshadowed by her huge ego.

Someone in a coffee shop asked a pertinent question, 'Can anyone be considered charitable if she had the shop all to herself when shopping in a foreign country?'
