My scattered mind

How could I have peace of mind when I have to deal with prevention of so many activities - burglary, snatch robbery (thief seems a misnomer), break car window robbery, ATM espionage, online banking frauds, and so on and so forth?

In my earlier post on 'peace of mind', I forgot the simple act of unplugging TV, computer and other electronic equipment when leaving the house, would give me the peace of mind too, barring an unprecedented direct lightning hit on the house or flood!

This morning I had the misfortune of keying in a wrong user ID for online banking. I actually forgot and without first checking and being ready, I went into a series of errors and even opted for 'forget user ID' thinking it was something simple, but entailed at least 3 working days!

The problem with the onset of memory loss is that what was written somewhere in a secret place so that others would not know would end up as a secret to myself! These days there are so many user names or IDs and their accompanying passwords to remember. Even for telecommunication service providers, like Digi's Online Customer Service! The most practical would be to write in a prominent notebook which cannot be missed and forget about keeping it secret from others!
