If this was the original car air-conditioner, then we have come a long way indeed.
Our workshop, 40 years ago, did a better job than this.
This wooden bumper would do, rustproof but beware of termites.
Forget about safety (no pillar), minimum wind resistance too.
Ah! when the chips are down (or gone), this serves as air hose too. Can last till you reach home.
