Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

BN running out of ideas?

Najib started BR1M with Rm500. Wrong timing first time, so BR1M 2.0 followed. Encouraged by response (demand exceeded expectation, only natural to be kiasu), BR1M promised to be an annual distribution. When Pakatan offers Rm1,000 if elected, BN offers Rm1,200! But I believe this kind of bribery will backfire on BN.

This is a true story:

A local young Indian rubber tapper's application for BR1M the first time was rejected because his income exceeded Rm3,000 a month. For BR1M 2.0, his appeal was successful.

One day, in a coffee shop, a senior Chinese man called him, 'Tambi, lu ada dapat Rm500?' (Young man or brother, did you get the Rm500?)

He replied, 'Sudah dapat.' He was then asked, 'Undi apa parti?' (Which party are you going to vote?)

He replied, 'Oh itu, tak boleh cakap. Rahsia.' (Oh that I cannot tell you, it's supposed to be secret.)

The Chinese man then advised him, 'Duit Rm500 itu masuk pocket, tapi undi, undi Rocket!' (You can pocket the Rm500, but when you vote, vote the Rocket (DAP)).
