May P.I. Balasubramaniam rest in peace

We knew Bala had taken great risks in his first Statutory Declaration. We knew he had to make a second SD, against his will, which was supposed to supersede the first.

He was back in Malaysia recently, and claimed that he was made to withdraw his first SD and replaced it with the second SD. Lawyer Americk Sidhu had just given a credible account of how he helped Bala in drafting SD1...

Before his untimely and unfortunate death, Bala started on a series of  roadshows, in his attempt to explain his past actions and to give credibility to his first SD. We knew he had blocked arteries and the roadshow must have taken a toll on his health. We knew of his wish before he died, and the least we can do is to help in spreading his word, so that he did not die in vain.

'Uploaded 12 March 2013, three days before Bala died of an apparent heart attack at his home in Rawang. As a gesture of respect for the man's courage in confronting power with truth, I reproduce below his sensational statutory declaration of 3 July 2008...'
