The Straits Times used to be the most respected newspaper in Malaya, but now New Straits Times in Malaysia has reached gutter level.
I have always wondered why people are now unafraid of telling lies despite black and white evidence to the contrary. They could deny the existence of legal or other documents or their contents therein.
Pictures or videos could have been doctored to show the intended persons for the purpose of damaging their reputation. Yet the 'victim' could choose to say 'looks like me, sounds like me...' or admit it like what Dr. Chua Soi Lek did. In the process, the public are confused and over time, the details get distorted. Now, we have come to a stage where we cannot believe anything at face value!
