Was it really an admission by Rosmah or was it just a concocted explanation (unsolicited) offered by Utusan editor in his eagerness to please the First Lady?
Assuming it is true that she bought the most expensive ring which she had just admitted, after much speculation without any response from her for an unduly long period, it raises more questions and it is going to fuel further speculations and jokes about her.
Nobody would doubt the financial means of Najib. He could easily afford a mere Rm24 million ring. But Rosmah's savings? Either she is naive or terribly bold to have mentioned that. Most certainly people would question her family background, her previous jobs and so on to find out how someone, who was just an ordinary executive before her marriage to Najib, could save so much! It would have been more believable if savings were 'since marriage' which would raise the questions of how and how much she was getting to be able to save so much. As wife of DPM and later PM, any large amounts which she was able to receive would be subject to speculation again, touching on corruption and likely to be non-disclosure of incomes and non-payment of income taxes.

That wasn't utusanlah bongok. It was done by extreme pr supporter. How can you spin and forget your tail? Dia bust fitnah lepas tu percaya pula.
ReplyDeleteDid I mention it was the truth? Whatever it is, Rosmah needs to provide a satisfactory reply to all that had been said about the ring. If she is not the First Lady, nobody would bother what she does. She cannot be PM's wife and yet wants privacy on such matters. And she is not one to wish to be a recluse. She cannot have the cake and eat it at the same time.
ReplyDeleteWhen one wants to tell a lie, it has to be more credible than this.
ReplyDeleteI think whoever tells this is being arrogant, not caring whether the rakyat believe it or not.
Well, we are not supposed to believe everything we see or read in the net. By sharing what we have received we should be in a better position to judge what is genuine and what is not. Otherwise by keeping quiet and assuming what we know is true, the truth otherwise might be too late.
