Or, like this cat, taking up cosy beds meant for two?
Our older female dog has this bad of taking food meant for the younger male. Watching them, it is hard to believe the different status understood by both. Within striking distance, the younger dog would not go near the food. Sometimes, knowing that I am watching, bully would go to the other bowl to check and makes sure she is getting the better deal!
My favourite example of 'kiasuism' is when a mother tells her child not to teach his friend because he might know more and get better grades and position in class! But she did not realize that the actual process of teaching actually improves the person's understanding of the topic.
