It is strange how we are reminded of certain years of our lives with the passing of a well known singer. To be honest, I first got to know of the group, Peter Paul & Mary through their song, Cruel War in 1969. Memories of the war in Vietnam and so on. I used to strum and sing this song to my kids because of the easy to be remembered chords and lyrics. Actually, I did not even know the full names of each individual member!
I have searched for the song in Youtube and the link below, is the closest I can find to fit my version (key of G), in fact, I could almost strum and sing along with this clip.
