I used to sing this song to my wife, strumming the guitar but not the plucking part (how I wish I could) and had been singing to my children too (years ago). Not sure if they had heard the original song by Russ Hamilton. It was so old that they probably did not have any video on it!

About the plucking part (guitar, I mean), the word plucking reminds me of a sign seen in Cameron Highlands, "Pluck your own strawberries"!
