And all because the Lady loves Camry...

which would remind us of a Cadbury advertisement. Toyota, which suffered their first loss in umpteen years, should take it as an excellent slogan.

Najib managed to pull off a coup, which Tajol Rosli could not, because he managed to ‘reach the parts where others cannot reach’ which is similar to a Heineken advertisement. His deep pocket is able to do wonders with those in search of a pot of gold, but I still cannot get over how a Camry could cause a collapse in the Perak state government.

A Malaysiakini headline: ‘Arumugam in safe place claims Kedah PKR’ really puts us among the lawless countries like Myanmar and Somali. Even a state assemblyman does not feel safe?

On the ground, Malays were talking about succession issues in Perak, while Chinese were more interested in freehold titles and business contracts.

An MCA life member said jokingly that his group want to join my branch. It so happened there was a red truck across the road, which at a glance, resembles a FRU truck. I said the FRU is here and you will be arrested. One of them said, ‘don’t worry, we still have our MCA membership card!’

It looks like Pakatan Rakyat has inherent problem with Royalty because there is a limit to people’s power beyond which it will make them insecure. But people are bound to talk and if not allowed, they will whisper. So far, the people seem really disappointed with our Sultan as they expected more of him for being a former Lord President. They have also pinned their hopes on the Regent, especially because of his speech, days earlier.

Now, Perak is like a police state with strong police presence. How long is this going to continue? The Bukit Gantang by-election will be the focus of attention to test the people’s wishes. The BN machinery of unfairness will show its ugly face again. But the overwhelming support against the present regime will ensure that its candidate will be trounced without a shadow of doubt.
